Cogar (Cogar Teicneolaíochta Ltd) is committed to providing an open, inclusive and welcoming space for the Irish language community (of all levels). Engagement is encouraged. Disagreement is inevitable, indeed expected. You can of course engage with individuals, organisations, bodies, ideas, posts, content etc…the simple request…is that things are kept, at a bare minimum, civil.
- If content is annoying; you have tools to mute or block it.
- If content is breaking the (few, simple) rules, report it.
Complaints are taken seriously. Each is manually reviewed, other companies have teams/departments for this. Cogar does not.
Therefore this can also directlyeffect Cogar's ability to maintain and improve the platform and experience for the wider community.
Cogar strives to be a cut above other platforms.
If you are unable to make a point without being abusive, you’re probably on the wrong platform.
